First Client Cake What Do You Think?

This is my first client cake ever - a bridal shower cake. The brides colors are robins egg blue and chocolate brown. The cake ended up looking more like turquoise icon_cry.gif Tell me what you think

Thanks I guess I am my own worst critic. It did turn out well - just off on the colors. I am always learning

I think that is a very nice cake. The chocolate brown on the robin egg blue is very appealing. Keep up the good work.

Just my honest opinion, I would add a border at the bottom to at least cover up the cake board. The scrollwork looks great though. I agree with you on the color. Hope this helps!

I agree with the boarder to cover up the cake board - did not realize it until too late. Did get a call from the client - everyone loved the cake - maybe a few new clients out of the deal - yeah me! Thank you for your honesty and help - CC rocks!
