Has anyone tried to make Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake Balls?

I was thinking of trying it with chocolate cake scaps and using peanut butter as the "binder". Then dip them in the melted Wilton Peanut Butter candy melts.

Do you think this would work?

I also was thinking of trying an Irish Cream batch using the liquid Coffemate Irish Cream flavored creamer as the "binder" and dipping them in the Irish Cream flavored candy melts (not Wilton brand but the brand that Hobby Lobby carries).

Would this be too much Peanut Butter and too much Irish Cream?

Any advice/opinions are appreciated!

I've never made cake balls but the chocolate peanut butter ones sound yummy! I may have to try them. I would probably dip them in chocolate instead of peanut butter candy melts though - just because I love chocolate! Let us know how they turn out.

I have! I used peanut butter as the binder with van/caramel cake scraps. Dipped in chocolate. They turned out yummy!

Too much peanut butter? Did you really just ask that? You can never have too much PB! Try it, I think they'd be delicious!!
