Hi,

I'm new to the forum and this is my very first post... Hello everyone icon_smile.gif

I have been researching cake decorating courses as I am a beginner and would like to take this up as a hobbie.

I'm located in Toronto. I've been considering the cake decoarting course at George Brown College.. can anyone provide any feedback on their course.. or another place I might consider taking the course?

Thanks In advance,
Mahliya

Welcome! I'm pretty new here and have just started Wilton course 1 at michael's. I'm in Georgia though so I don't know about Toronto. Just wanted to welcome you. Everyone here is very helpful (and amazingly talented-I don't think I'll ever come close to the talent here, but I do have fun and my cakes taste good.). Just a warning - this site is addicting!

Welcome, Jamie

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you. Just wanted to say Welcome to CC, Mahliya! And congrats on your first post.

P.S. I lived in Toronto for 4 years, graduated from York. Love TO...hate winter icon_smile.gif

I also wanted to welcome you to CC. You will be addicted to this site as everyone is so very helpful. I don't know if you have a Michaels or JoAnn's by you, but they are very good resourses for classes. And very inexpensive. Enjoy this site and post pictures!
