Hi Everyone,

I want to bake an 8x3" round cake. Does this size pan require a flower nail/heating core to bake effectively?

Can I bake it at the same time I'm also making an 8x2" cake and then just remove the smaller cake when it is done and finish off the 8x3" cake?

Good Morning! Yep, use a flower nail....it does a great job making it rise more evenly also. You can cook both cakes at the same time with no problems. thumbs_up.gif

I love your tag! When the show came on my husband says to me he stole your tag! I have been tagging my emails with that for years! I am sure someone else was doing it years before me!!

Cake does make everything better!
