Is it just me or has it been a while since there has been a cake contest on CC? I think when I first signed up for CC it was during the April showers contest which I didn't get to participate in. Have I been missing anything or has it just been that long? Waaahh...I want something challenging to work on...even though I'm not that good. Anybody know when the next one will be?
Jackie and Heath made a post when the galleries were updated and they are in the Beta stage right now.
There will not be another contest untill all of the bugs are worked out of the galleries. Jackie posted awhile ago that CakeCentral 3.0 will be released soon and this will have a lot of the bugs out of the galleries, so maybe once the site is updated we will see the contest again.

The purpose of these is to give people a little "push" to be creative and do something new. It isn't a contest, with a winner, but it definitely seems to bring out the creative in quite a few people.
