Design a plaque, the way you want it on the computer (in MS Power Point, for example - very straight forward) save it as picture, invert it and print it out. Put parchment paper over the print-out and trace with melted choco. Put in the stick if the plaque should be on it and freeze it. There you go. It should work.
If you have any computer issues, I will do it for you, just let me know what it should read and how it should look. No problemo!
Not sure how you want it to be, but when I'm in a hurry, this is what I do. First I place a cookie sheet in the freezer to chill, then I take melting chocolate, warm it to a liquid stage. I spread it out on the wax paper or food plastic wrapped cookie sheet to resemble the shape of the plaque I want. Place it back in the freezer for a couple of minutes (5 at the most) just so it can set. Then I take melted chocolate of the opposite color (if my plaque is dark chocolate I use white or any other color and vice versa) pour it into a pastry bag with the tiniest hole and I write whatever message I need it to say. Allow up to 8 hours if possible to set and dry before using. HTH
Well, since I'm not great at getting straight lines, and have few cookie cutters, I just use a candy bar mold to make the plaque. I pour the chocolate in, let it set, then write on it with melted chocolate in whatever color I need.
I think Wilton also has molds for this, but I didn't see a point in buying those, since I already had the candy bar mold. ![]()
If I need fancy writing I print out the word(s) in the size, and font, I need. Lay that in the right spot on top of the chocolate plaque, then use a needle to follow along the letter edges, and leave small pin prick holes in the chocolate. Trace over that with the melted chocolate.
Hope this helps,
Holly
