I have been decorating cakes on and off for 12 years and I haven't really worked in a grocery store setting before- until now. What are some good colors for a wedding cake that I have to do a model for? Thanks

Hi! Welcome to cakecentral! icon_smile.gif When I think of fall colors, I think browns, golds, oranges, yellows. Hope that helps!

I work in a grocery store bakery as well. I've been having tons of fun with fall colors. I did a cupcake platter the other day (twelve cupcakes around an 8" round). I airbrushed the round orange to look like a pumpkin, then I iced the top two cupcakes green for the stem of the pumpkin. Then the others I iced orange, yellow, red, and brown and then piped a pile of leaves on top of each cupcake using the red, yellow, brown, etc. It was cute.
