I just got my first cake order(s), two cakes in two days for the same woman. (woo hoo!)
the first is for her hubby's 60th b-day the other is for her son's 40th. she basically told me her hubby is into fly fishing.........anyone got any ideas? it's going to be a 1/4 sheet cake.
the other she told me to do whatever i want on it. hmmm....men's cakes are so hard to do! anyone have any suggestions? it too is a 1/4 sheet cake w/white buttercream icing.
i've been racking my brain all day today and still haven't come up w/any great ideas. i have to do them next friday and saturday. all help is greatly appreciated! thanks.

The beer cooler cakes seem to be really popular, also any sports themed cakes would be a good idea. Good luck!
i've seen sheet cakes where they make it look like a shirt and tie. if you could find out any favorite sports teams or where they went to school, you could do something like that.
My DH is a flyfisherman. I have done a trout going after a fly in the water as a FBCT. If you like that pic I can e-mail it to you.
