I was going to make daisys for a wedding sheet cake to top each piece. the question is the wedding is on the 29th, so thats not quite two weeks. Is it ok to make them this far in advance? also I do not want to use gum paste because I don't want them to be rock hard. so thats why I choose mmf.

I just made sunflowers with the daisy cutout and I made them one week before the wedding with mmf. I think that is as far in advance as I would make them because a few became too brittle...they were still soft enough to move around but they tended to break off a little when I was setting up.

You should be fine making them this far ahead of time. I would go to the local pizza place and see if you could purchase a couple of pizza boxes to keep them in until needed. The boxes aren't airtight, so aire can still get to them so they will dry a bit, but the box will prevent dust from getting on them.

Yes you can make them now...But they will harden, just not rock hard. HTH
