I've been asked to do a cake for a birthday party. 150 people will be attending. The birthday girl is turning 50 and is CRAZY about the leopard pattern.

I am hoping I can tap into the creative minds of my fellow CCer's for ideas.

Hi I love animal prints also. how about a cake coered in carmel colored fondant with black spots?

sorry I wasn't finished could do a 3 tier topsy turvy cake with 3 diff animal prints I think theres one in the gallery.

I was thinking of something very similar, i was also thinking topsy turvy cake but all the tiers being in leopard print, with black small balls around the egde of th tiers where the joins are and maybe something on top like a black bow.hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for your ideas the color suggestions are nice. but I'm not sure this customer would be receptive to a topsy turvy cake.

If there are any other ideas out there I sure would like to hear from you.

You could make the tiers a soft color and add thick animal print ribbon around it, or make ribbon from fondant.
