Hi,
I got an order for a marble cake. First of all I have never done a Marble Cake! They want a mountain. I am using the Wilton Wondermold pan. I made 3/4 yellow cake & 1/4 chocolate cake (using DH). Well I just took the pan out of the oven and it was a HUGE hole in the middle. It wasn't DONE. What did I do wrong? it is the batter? I baked at 325 and the cake was almost 1 hour and 20 min on the oven.
Help.
What should I do?
I am using the extended recipe so I do not know how to do that with a DH marble box.
Thanks in advance fo any help.

I'm really not sure why your cake wouldn't have cooked as long as you had the heating core screwed into the center of the pan.

Here's a bump!

I tried again and it didn't work either. tHE HEATING core was screwed. this time I tried putting half margarine and half butter. Actually it was worst than the first time.
I also baked a regular round 9in. pan and it worked really well.
I need help ASAP.
Do you know if I can just use a Marble box with the extended recipe(Idon't know the name of the recipe actually, but I added flour, sugar, eggs, butter, etc to the box)?
Please I need to bake NOW!!!!
