Hello All,

I am so happy with this cake and the way it turned out so I just had to share with all of you.

I made this cake from my friends 32nd birthday. She had no idea I was making it. When I showed up at the restaurant with it and she opened the box she was speechless. Everyone loved the cake. A few people sitting at another table thought the purse was real. I had alot of fun making this and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Michelle, I can see why she loved it. It is great! Don't you just love taking cakes to restaurants and getting the other diners' reactions.

I love the quilting and the zipper pull...it's just a great work of art overall!

Yes, the quilting is a very nice touch! And I love the way you put on top of the square cake, instead of just having the purse cake.

I went and looked at your purse cake it is really very nicely done. I would have never guessed this was your first one. It is really good. Liked the cake alot.
