ALL THOSE CALORIES icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif BUT on a good note I read dolfin's post and had a real good laugh...cheered me up no end.

Man if I had some cake in the house right now I would have some too. Look at it this way you only ate 1/2 and not the whole thing.

Dang that cake looks good and would be good with a glass of nice cold milk right now.

Your post made me smile. So, it's not just me. If there was a cake in my house yesterday, I probably would have done the same thing. As it was, I was rummaging through the cabinets, the pantry and the kid's halloween candy looking for anything. icon_eek.gificon_confused.gif Of course all the good stuff was gone but I still managed to eat way more than I should have. icon_redface.gif Oh well, today's a new day. thumbs_up.gif

If I'd had time yesterday, I would have baked a cake just to eat half of it. And that picture is REALLY not helping my cravings now!

It's just a chocolate angel food box cake (betty crocker I think) with chocolate and oreo filling...but it did taste nice at the time.....I'm paying consequeces now though...my sugar count is sky high today icon_surprised.gif ....so I'm just having to be extra good for a couple of days icon_lol.gif

I've done this too many times myself, whenever my DH asks I tell him I shared it with the kids (sometimes I do, but usually they are in bed and that just one slice statement fails me!) I still always say though I shared with the kids icon_redface.gif

Okay, it's a good thing my computer doesn't have smell-o-vision or I would really be in trouble. I'm glad that I cann't get any calories just by wishing for a piece of that cake. I am a chocolaholic--NOT FAIR--Now I have to go find a meeting and do the 12 step thing. LOL Really looks delish

mkolmar -

my philosophy on sharing anything chocolate with the family -

If they got the chance to smell it, then I have shared enough.
