Hi all! I'm moving to the Kissimmee / Orlando area in January and I am hoping to find a professional decorator that I can work under. Yes, I've taken the Wilton courses and learned most of what I know from fellow CCers. As of now, I do this as a hobby. However, I am very much interested in working with a pro to teach me more. Please take a moment and look at my gallery and tell me your thoughts. Do I have potential to excell at this? I really want to be challenged and to do things that push the limits. I would absolutely love the opportunity to work with a legitimate professional who specializes in cake decorating and sugar artistry. Thank you so much for replying. Feel free to PM me on this.
Thanks again,
Amy

If you are moving to the Orlando area, you may as well go to the Notter School, right there in Orlando.

Ewold Notter is a world-reknowned, champion pastry chef. His classes are incomparable.

Amy,
I think your cakes are excellent. I agree with tmriga that the Notter School is great it is also expensive. I work at a hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area and my pastry chef teaches a class every Wednesday at Valencia Community College you may want to look into. He is fantastic and he just won ACF Pastry chef of the year. I ask him questions all the time and I wish I could show you some of his work.
Welcome to Florida, I live in Ocoee, Fl.
