Cheesecake Help Please :)

How do I keep a cheesecake from turning golden brown on top? Whenever I copy a recipe the pictures is always this beautiful cheesecake on top but mine always brown over...I just made a marbled pumpkin cheesecake and you can't even see the marble on top anymore! am I cooking too long? thanks in advance for all help!

You could be cooking it to long or at to high of a temperature. Lower your temperature and cook until the center is still a little (Jiggly) if that's a word !!! I turn off my oven at this point and leave it sit in the oven for about a half hour with door just cracked.

looong, loooow and maybe a water bath? I bake at 300 degrees

I just took a class on baking cheesecakes . . . the trick is baking long and low . . . you might need to move your oven rack too. Place a water bath underneath and you will be surprised at how beautiful they bake up. Good luck!
