Can I do poinsettias made from bc or do I have to do royal icing? I'd prefer to use bc; I want to do cupcakes with a large poinsettia on each one. Thanks for any help!

if you look under new articles there is one on how to make a buttercream poinsettias. I haven't made them but it looks pretty easy.

There is an article about buttercream poinsettias on the main page (about 1/2 the way down in the article section).

Hope that helps.

I am really not sure, since I have never tried these, but I did see there is a tutorial for making them in the articles. I was looking at it last night and I think it was for BC.

Good luck!!

Yes you can do poinsettias in buttercream. Do them right on the cupcakes. If you don't know how to do them here is the link for the "tutorial" on this site: http://cakecentral.com/article56-How-To-Make-a-Buttercream-Poinsettia.html
