I am having trouble lately getting my chocolate and candy melts thin enough for drizzling or dipping. I made cake balls today added some butter, but still did not get real thin. What am I doing wrong?

I always add 1 tablespoon of Crisco to one bag of the candy melts when I am melting them.

I asked the same question to my local candy lady (she does not sell wilton chocolates) and she said to add two TBS. to one pound of chocolate. This works really well for white chocolate. Hope that helps.
