Does anyone know of a site online to download lace point patterns or royal icing patterns in general? I found a few coloring pages that would make cute kid's cakes but I'd like to try some lace points. Is there a book with lace point patterns that anyone could recommend?

Here are a few good pages for lace point how to's recipe & and a pattern or two. They also suggest that Nicholas Lodge has an excellent book.

http://www.createacakeshop.com/businesscakedec8.htm has a good article on lace point and the raw egg bacteria saftey! Hummm I never thought of the food risks of lace point decorations. It is interesting to know.

Thanks for those links. I can't figure out which Nicholas Lodge book they are talking about since the link to the sugarcraft page has been changed. I think I will email the owner and see if she knows which book it is. Thanks!
