I really donn't liked using the wilton heating core, it is ok to use the flower nail? I baking a square 12x12 3deep cake, is it ok to use a flower nail instead of the heating core?

I've been wanting to try the flower nail too, but haven't made a large cake lately. Be sure and post how it worked out for you.

Remember to spray or grease it really well all over. One time I sprayed the inside of the heating core, but forgot to spray the outside. Not a good thing! icon_redface.gif
