They offer two different sizes, the large holds up to 300 regular sized cupcakes, and the mini holds up to 100 regular sized cupcakes. I think I'm going to buy the mini.
I was orginallly looking into using this stand for the cupcake wedding cake I did for my best friend's wedding but then her mom had one made...unfortunately I noticed you live in Florida or else I could have given you the wedding place that it was donated to in TN for rentals. Here are the pictures of the one I did, with the stand...
I have not used this cupcake tree, but I just bought the materials to make this (just in case you haven't seen this link). It looks studier to me JMO.

That's gorgeous! Didn't you tell your best friend she could donate it to you!
Does she have plans you could share with us?
I have used the cupcake tree from that website. It works out great. Each time I cover it with a coordinating (sp) paper and ribbon. I have used it about 5 or 6 different times. It still in ok shape, but it deffinately isn't a long term purchase. After about 3 or 4 more uses I will probably get another one. The pics of my Cupcake trees are in my gallery.
If you'll be doing cupcake trees on a regular basis, definitely buy a sturdy metal one from

In the long run, it's cheaper than buying the cardboard ones over and over again! It also dismantles, so you can use less tiers, wipes clean, you can rent it out for profit and it pays for itself SO quickly!
