Being new, I don't know the difference between luster and pearl dust. I am wanting to do some fall leaves or pumpkins (saw great ones on the site) and wonder if I could paint it on in advance (2 weeks) or if it will fall off when dry...?

Here is a thread that discusses the differences in dusts:

You should be able to paint it in advance without problems. I don't see what it should fall off unless you go rubbing it or something. icon_biggrin.gif

If you use a lemon extract it sets the color on whatever you paint it on. Unless you get the item wet with water, it wont come off.
