Hey all CCers--
I have been so busy that I haven't had a lot of time to spend on CC.
Just wanted to tell you all about the opportunity that has come my way.
Talk about God wanting you to step out of your comfort zone...I am a physical therapist assistant that has an out-of-control hobby of cake decorating. Due to some "activity " around this area, I have taken down my website (temporarily). However, a chef that has a restaurant here wants me to bake at his kitchen and fill his case with sweets and savories.
I get to still do therapy (that pays the bills) but I will go to his kitchen half a day and bake. He has all the licenses. The last time I was in a commercial kitchen, I was 15/16 yrs old and worked at KFC. I'm scared and excited. I will also be able to put up a dummy cake in the store for orders. Oh my--if I wasn't busy enough, I think I better keep my running shoes on.
Also, another business here has called and asked me to create a signature cookie for his business as he will be putting in a bakery in the near future. The last year has been going by so fast and things are just exploding around here. Let's just hope it won't be me...LOL!!!
