Fondant- How Hard Will It Get?

Lol... okay, so that sounds a little bizarre, but seriously... I'm making some fondant decorations that won't be eaten to try and use up some Wilton fondant. If I make them today, how hard do you think they will be by Friday? Will they get actually "breakable" hard, if that makes sense? Hard enough to stick into a cake and stand on their own? I'm trying to make some turkey tail feathers that I can jam into the cake.... do you think this will work?
Awwww SHOOT!!! gumpaste, I completely forgot... oh well, they are all made now. I'll just have to wait and see I guess... and hope for the best!!
I find they get hard on the outside but are still not completely hard inside. I did some rocks for a construction cake a couple of months ago. I recently found the extras and just to see how hard they got I took a bite. The outside was very hard but the inside was still chewable. FYI, they still tasted okay too!
