Anyone have a recipe for six cupcakes? It's for students in a cake decorating class. I'll also take any shortened cake recipe.

Could you just make extras in case someone wants to decorate more than one...then they could eat some and take some home...and have extra practice. OR make the extra batter into a cake and use it to make cake balls! OR make the extra cupcakes and take them to an elderly person or shut in who couldn't eat a whole cake...just some ideas...

I would think a recipe the right size to fill an 8 or 9 inch square pan would yield 6 or 7 cupcakes.

Try a Jiffy Mix, they are small and cheap.
