Do NOT...i repeat do NOT carry a cheese cake to the fridge by the foil...i wrap my pan in foil to prevent the water from seeping in and ruining the crust....i was carrying it to the fridge and there goes the foil...it ripped and the cake fell to the floor....i had to bake it over......learn from my stupid mistake.... icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

So sorry this happened to you. I just finished baking a cheesecake and I also wrap it in foil so I can see how easily that could happen. Your post will help me to be extra careful! Thanks and again sooo sorry!!!

I will have to keep that in mind. I am making cheese cake as well as pumpkin pie for thanksgiving and I wrap mine in foil so now I will be extra careful.
