Okay I am fixing to try my first FBCT and I wanted to make sure I get this. I am affraid that I will fill in the wrong things in the wrong order. Which do I need to do first?

I would do the outlines and his nose as well as anything that is black and then go from there but last I would do his fur because thats the most.

I agree. Also, it helps if you do your outlines and put it back in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to avoid it lifting off when you finish up.

The little area there around his mouth, under his nose and above his chin, what color should that be?

I just did a Scooby Doo character cake - all of Scooby was brown, his collar was teal and the dog tag was teal with yello characters. Red for the tongue, pink in the ears.
