I need help with an army tank cake. Does anyone know if I can use the cruiser pan as the botton and then stack up with cake? Or should I just start out with cake stacked up and start carving. PLease advise.

I have never used the cruiser pan...however, i did make a tank cake. I used a square cake and then just rounded the edges. I also made a 4" round for the turrett. The tracks i made from gumpaste. Look in my photos for the example.

I used Cornell pans - 8 x 11.5 - bottom down; 11 x 7 - top down; mini loaf pan cut down a little bit for the top. This worked really well because I didn't have to do any carving.

However you decide to make yours, be sure to post pics!! icon_smile.gif
