Fondant Board Question

I am covering a board with fondant, and I am going to be using an impression mat to give the board a cobblestone effect. Do you think the fondant will hold the cobblestone shape, or should I ice the board or something to fill in the bottom of the cobblestones so they don't sag?

The fondant should hold the impression just fine but you may want to put a thin coating of icing on the board to help adhere the fondant to it.
