I am working a turkey transfer and I look at all the pics and I see it looks so smooth. What is the best way to get that look? I have used the cornstarch right now but do I need to thin my icing out more?

Yes, thin icing is good. I use clear cellophane to put my images on and then tape that down to a clear peice of plexiglass. When I am done outling and filling I look at the image by lifting it a bit over my head (don't want to turn it over or else you have a mess... icon_lol.gif ) and then I take a toothpick and swirl it around in each of the fill areas to get rid of any air bubbles or lines. Some people have mentioned that they use paint brushes as well, and that works too. When I do this, I never have to constarch or use viva to smooth it out later.

missyek,

Very clever technique!

I'll have to file this away to use when I do my first FBCT.

Thanks!!!!
