I'm sorry, loser me, can't add an attachment. Please, look in my photos at turkey cake
OK. Check out my turkey cake, and let me know if the wings are backwards. Should the points be towards the rear of the cake?

I do think the wings should be pointing to the shoulders, but it looks fine this way and I think you did a great job on it.

Thanks everybody. Yes, I have looked at other cakes, but still wasn't super clear to me, good idea. I looked at the web-site and I am now starting to think they are backwards. Any other pics anyone can find to help me. I have even googled it, but some are not clear. Should this be this confusing?

Depends if on a real turkey you flip them in or out. I makde mine going the otherway. You can fold them in or leave them out so really there is no right or wrong I guess. In school we would tress a chicken and turn the wings in.

Don't most people turn the turkey wings under the front part anyway? I think its awesome!
I'm going to try and make a turkey leg for my boss (who is a vegitarian) for thanksgiving....should be hilarious.
