I just finished 3 sheet cakes for my sons Saturday wedding. I took a side view because of the "no photo" being allowed. The cake to the right is my son and his soon to be wife during their kindergarten graduation. The teacher would team kids up with a partner and have them walk down the aisle up onto the stage. She moved away right afterwards. A friend introduced them last year. They didn't realize until they came across a pic that they were hand in hand during this graduation. Here all these years the girl we didn't know in the pic, will soon be his bride.
Your cakes are beautiful but you son's story belongs on Oprah! That is soooooooooo neat!!
Thank you!!!! The real challenge for me will be the fountain cake. ugh lol I just wish that my first wedding cake would have been for a much smaller crowd, but, I'm so blessed to be able to do my own sons wedding cake as my first.
Your cakes are beautiful, and that is one of the best stories I have ever heard! Congratulations to your son and his future bride!

That is a really sweet story, and your cakes are beautiful!! everything happens for a reason. These two were meant to be together.
I tell people that I have a memory bank...so when I get too old to do anything...I can withdraw from my memory bank and have years of fond memories to think about.
This story should go in their memory bank. What a fun thing to find out about. I guess it was their little glimpse of what's to be.
Thanks for sharing...it made me smile.
What a really neat story! It was great that you could incorporate the picture in the cake. The cakes are all beautiful!
That is sooo cute!! Sounds kinda like us, except we were about 10 when we met, and my husband fell in love with me then (we attended his church, he's the pastor's son)... We always loved playing with eachother and we always got teased about liking eachother...then eventually 10 years later we really proved them right!! LOL!!
what an awesome story! That picture is priceless for them
Your cakes look great! and congrats on becoming a MIL
Absolutely beautiful work. Congratulations to you and your family. With work this beautiful and so full and detail I'm sure the celebration will just be spectacular. Wishing the Bride and Groom many years of happiness in their new life together.
GREAT story!!! So, have you been able to track down the kindergarten teacher to send out an invitation?
Have fun with the wedding!
