I am doing a cake for a baby shower on Sunday.. and I need to give the woman a price and am unsure what to charge.

It will be a onesie sheet cake (like a lot of the wonderful cakes on here!) that will serve 25 people! Not sure what to charge! Suggestions are greatly appreciated! icon_lol.gif

I charge 1.25 a servings - so it would come out at around 31.25 (I'll round up to $35). But what do you normally charge?

i charge the same price per serving no matter what shape cake i do. (my rent is the same no matter what type cake im making, so why should i discunt a rectangle?) so for only buttercream decoration i would charge 2.50 per serving. that would include a double layer cake (with 3 layers of filling) and a cute display board decorated with fondant and ribbon to put it on.
