Cake Pan Is It Big Enough???

Hi all i was asked to do a small cake for arounf 6-8 people i thought of the small Oval pan, will this be big enough??? Also i need to do a Red Hat on the cake i thought of using a real little hat and making a hat stand then i thought of the edibile image thing, and how would you get the dark purple and red i need i thought i would border it in these 2 colorsThanks

I'm not sure how big the small oval pan is? But according to Wilton, the 6" round would serve 12.

I think it runs 5x6

the small oval pan has fed up to 8 for me, but they are small slices. If small is good, then you're fine with the small oval. If you need larger 'party' pieces, I'd suggest one size up.
