How does a Devil's Food cake with a caramel filling and chocolate buttercream/ganche sound?

Would it be rich? I will use the chocolate buttercream only to cover the outside of the cake before pouring the ganche so that the cake looks smooth.

It sounds rich but very delicious. Any chocolate lover would like it.I can't wait to see a picture of it!

I love caramel as a filling for chocolate cake. Go for it !!!

Add some pecans to the caramel and you have a turtle cake. I did that exact cake once and my in-laws went crazy over it.
