A Mango Filling?

I want to do this recipie do you think it will work?

Filling
2 mangos (fresh only)
1/2 cup sugar
1 T Rum
2 T cornstarch

Okay so I went searching for a mango filling before I actually opened the topic and read that you already had a recipe you were going to try and just wanted an opinion on it. Anyway, this sounds really delicious. It's for mango cream puffs but you can definately use the mango filling from this recipe for a cake!!
