hi everyone!

sorry to both u, but i have a rather silly question about hard candies...

is it possible to take a bunch of hard candies that u get at the store and then melt them down to re-form them??

I'm not sure how remolding them would work but people do this all the time inside of cookies. It gives them a stained glass look, I've done it for windows on a cookie church.

I'm thinking its possible. I've seen recipes for 'stained glass' cookies where you make a donut shaped cookie then put crushed candies in the middle before baking. Good luck. Hopefully someone will have the answer but be careful, liquified sugar gets super hot. I'll be watching because it sounds like a great idea!

Yes you can crush hard candy and put them in like they said, stained glass cookies. I don't know about molding though. I'd probably make fresh homemade candy for molding.

i would LOVE to dabble in candy making, but im SOOOO scared!!! i cant imagine getting it on u and the burn u would receive!!!
