This is NOT my cake! If it belongs to someone on here, you did a great job! I have a friend that needs this cake. I thought I could use a rubber stamp and food coloring for the monkey but I can not find a monkey stamp anywhere!!!! Any good ideas?

Thank you for your help!

I think I would find a pic of the monkey online, print it out, cover with wax paper and make with RI or chocolate, then transfer.

Maybe you can contact the cc'r who made the cake and ask her if she has a better pic of the monkey. then you can trace, or draw with luster paint the monkey on your cake.. or like the other cc'r said use a transfer. Good Luck

Could you freehand it with an edible marker or a small paintbrush and thinned down brown icing color?

You could try contacting the person that made the cake and see what they did...

Here is the blog link, http://blog.pinkcakebox.com/pink-and-brown-baby-shower-cake-2007-02-09.htm

OK Tramski gave you the link to where the cake was done, on the link it said that the cake was made from the INVITATION.

GO ON LINE AND FIND BABY SHOWER INVITATIONS WITH MOKEYS ON THEM. THAT IS THE ONLY THING I COULD THINK OF.

GOOD LUCK

You could use the Food Writer Pens.... and just freehand it or trace it with regular pen until you get the feel for it then free hand it....

Thank you for all of your suggestions! I am NOT an artist so I don't think I could free hand it. The other thing I thought might be fun is to take a cute monkey sticker and put it on a pink circle an dthen laminate it. Then they have a keepsake for their babybook.
Tramski~ Thank you for letting me know PinkCakeBox is a CC member!! I will look her up and ask her!

Baergarivera~Thank you for telling me it was on an invitation! I wish I could just find that invitation and laminate it!!!

I will let you all know what I end up doing!!!
Thank you so much for your help! CC people are the BEST!!!!
