Okay, this is so dumb, and I know it is something SOOOOOO simple that I am an idiot for asking, but you know, it's just one of those days...
Okay, I was in the hospital for surgery last year, and they gave me some strawberry cake with a sugar glaze, now it was either REALLY good, or it was the drugs they had me on.
I can't figure out what the glaze was, is that just powdered sugar with water? it tasted like a light pound cake,
does anyone have a good strawberry cake recipe with this glaze they could share? I'm sure it was a box mix ...it had to be for a hospital? It was so simple and it's driving me insane...
Thank you!

This is what I use on my strawberry cakes...
1/2-3/4 cup crushed strawberries (or just the juice if you prefer)
1   cup powdered sugar (may need to use 2 cups)
1/2   teaspoon vanilla
