I love Boston Creme pies! Is she wanting it stacked because I would be afraid of the pudding filling not being stable for it and somehow you'd need to incorporate chocolate icing. There are some recipes on here if you wanted to look at one. I don't know if you've ever made one before or not. If not, at least make one cuz they're awesome! icon_biggrin.gif

Hmmm....I don't think I was much help since I didn't know what your client was wanting one for. Sorry!

A regular Boston Creme is soooo easy. It's just two cake layers with the pudding inbetween and chocolate icing/ganache on the top cake layer. No sides need frosted and oozing pudding is okay too! icon_biggrin.gif Although, I like to put my first layer with the pudding on it in the fridge to let it settle before putting the top layer on so it's not oozing as much.

I just went to recipes and did a Boston keyword search. It's actually called a pie although it's in the form of cake. I don't really know why! icon_lol.gif

Have fun with it.

There are tons of recipes on google....

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGLR_enUS210US210&q=boston+cream+pie

For some reason, it's called a pie, but it's a cake!
