Ok so first time making a 1/2 sheet, I put 3 flower nails in the bottom and it baked up pretty level, only needed a little trimming. My only issue: I don't know if it is just really moist or if it is undercooked (i had to run out of the house and hubby tested it and took it out to cool. When I touch the trimmed top, I can hear the moisture in it, it's like the noise when touching a wet sponge. I guess....
So really I am kinda nervous about when it is sliced, will it fall apart?
i used the toothpick and it's clean, i was just concerned b/c it was sooo loud, it sounded like my baby was splashing in her tub!!! lol...
I have iced the cake now though so it's too late now!!! it tastes awesome though!!!!
i used a duncan hines chocolate fudge box mix and buttercream dream icing. i have been eating my scraps and i swear it's just a softer version of an oreo cookie!!! this icing is awesome!!! ![]()

I just made a cake with the same mix and it did the same thing to me. I was worried it was not done even though the tooth pick came out clean. When I went to tort it I notice it was one super moist cake and must have been why the noise was made. It was done and very yummy.
I have that happen all the time it's the fact it's soooooooooo super moist it just likes to talk back when ya touch it and squish it
. The last time I made one that did that I trimmed the top of and the kids got to playing with it scraps instead of eating them (wierd-o kids lol) and they rolled them into balls and they stuck!!!! it was cool!
I love that it's that moist it yells at me for touching it lol
Ok, where do I find the buttercream dream icing recipe? Sounds like it's reallllly good!
