Hello everyone I was just wondering if someone would be able to tell me how you make the big numbers that go on top of a cake. I need a big 2.

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, but would be curious to see it myself.

So, here's a little bump for you. I hope you find what you're looking for. icon_smile.gif

I would just make it out of flower paste and leave it to dry well.

Here are some options:

o Candy melts in a mold
o Gumpaste or fondant rolled and cut with a cookie cutter - then dry
o Gumpaste or fondant rolled and cut using a stencil - then dry
o Use a sugar cookie cutout and cover in icing or fondant

I make mine by rolling out some gumpaste into a sausage. thinner at the ends then shape it into the number needed insert a toothpick or piece of dry spagetti in the bottom if you want to poke it into cake ..... let dry for a few days. .... HTH
