Please help!

If I bake and frost a cake tonight for tomorrow,
how do I store it.

Do I put in the fridge or leave it out?

Which way will be the best?

BTW- It is store bought frosting and mix.

TIA!!!!

with my cakes i always cook them the day before icing - is easier to work with, I just cover them up and leave them either in the oven (if not being used) or in the pantry.

good luck!

I don't store mine in the fridge at all. Just at room temp until they are picked up. I often put them in the box that I send with the customer just to keep dust off them, but otherwise, no special precautions. My cakes are also from a box, doctored up a bit. The frosting is a scratch recipe though. But I think all the store bought stuff is meant to be stable at room temp, so you should be ok.
