What is a good place to purchase cookie cutters? A place that has good prices and a good selection? I'm particularly looking for baby cookie cutters and "fluted"- I think that's the word, cutters with the ruffly edges. Thanks for any help you can give!

Here are my favorites:

You'll pay more for copper, but they're durable and won't rust. I think these places have reasonable prices for copper -- both have good selections and great customer service.

The 'karens cookies' site is awesome because their shipping is so reasonable. I had about 30 cutters and the s/h was under $7, which is basically unheard of on the internet (that I have seen, anyway) and her prices are excellent as well. icon_lol.gif

Foose and country kitchen both have good shipping rates, I think that Foose has a set rate up to 100 cutters, and large selections.

www.downtowndough.com

I don't know how fast/cost of shipping. This is a store that is about 1/2 hour from my house, so I just drive there. But, their prices are the lowest I have found. In fact, I just went there today and most of the cutters I got were $0.99-$1.29. I bought a few copper cutters and they were all $9.99. Check it out, they have a ton of stuff.

I just came across a site that has cutters for .59cents. They don't have a huge selection but it's not too bad. I haven't ordered from them so I don't know about customer service, speed, or shipping charges. Here's the link:

Has anyone heard of/tried them????

cookiecuttershop.com has tin and copper cutters....I made a purchase recently and bought one of their copper cutters (dragon) for 8.50 along with several tin cutters. I got these in the other day and love them! The copper cutter is beautiful.

Oh how I wish there was a cake/cookie decorating supply store like this near me! The nearest ones (HobbyLobby and Michael's) are an hour away.

After reading this thread, I made a purchase from http://www.cookiecutter.com/ - in less than a week, I got my package. Good prices and the shipping was bad. Really good selection!!

I also plan to order a few othe kitchen items/utensils, as the prices are very low.

Thanks for all the cutter sites. I'll need them. I'm making cookies, and giving the cookie cutter to office co-workers at Christmas. One loves golf, one collects anything to do with lighthouses, another loves moose items, etc. I've found all of those cutters in a matter of minutes at the sites.

Please give me your unbiased opion about the cookies, and cutter gift. For example, it's a dozen iced golf cookies, and the matching cutter. Then they can make the cookies themselves in the future. Does it sound too dorky? Sometimes I give well meaning lame gifts.

I've done exatly that. They took pictures of the cookies to use as an example. For my friends who don't bake, they've used the cutter as an ornament. So I think it's an excellent idea! Bet then again, I tend to be a little dorky!! icon_lol.gif
