Is it hard to make chocolate leaves...the kind you paint chocolate on the back of a real leaf?

Nope, easy. Just use a paintbrush to paint it on, don't go over the edge, pop it in the fridge or freezer and when set, just peel off the leaf. You'll need a lot of leaves though and you only get 1 or 2 uses from each one. Or maybe it was jsut the leaves I used.

And what's also really cool, if you use a mint leaf, it infuses the chocolate with a hint of mint thumbs_up.gif

It's easier having a lot of leaves so you don't have to wait for the first ones to dry.

Just make sure that the leaf doesn't have incecticides on it. I got mine from the florast and told them that they were going on a cake, He had to order some special for me.

I got some beautiful results from our ficus tree leaves... not knowing much about the leaves, I can say everyone lived through their ingestion. <<<<Cheryl
