I have to make a beach themed going away cake for one of my MIL co workers. They are nurses and she is moving to California soon. It is only going to be a small cake but I'm stumped. any ideas or links to examples would be appretiated. I'm super bussy this week and pressed for time.
TIA

Wow! I just searched for "beach" in the galleries and came up with 7 pages. I'm sure you'll be able to get some ideas there.

what about just frosting it blue on half and half in a sandy brown color with some brown sugar or graham cracker crumbs sprinkled on it and a nurse in a beach chair molded out of fondant?

I did a beach themed cake a while back. This picture was while it was still in progress. I later re-cut the surfboard & added an umbrella (the paper kind you put in a cocktail). HTH! Cindy
