I just received my first dirty male genetalia (sp) cake. I have a few ideas on how to make it like I thought I'd make a 12 x 18 and carve the shaft out of it....and the two ball pans for the testicles...but the head is where I am getting stumped LOL. (sorry I can't hardly write this without laughing out loud, not to mention IM EMBARRASSED) any ways would the best way to do this is to make a extra 1/2 ball pan and slice it down one side to make it sit flat with the bottom of the ball pan sitting next to the Shaft cake?

Also....this is going to be covered in fondant.....so if I use the ball pan for the balls, 12 x 18 cut and carved for the shaft, but cut on the ends to allow for the balls to sit closely to the shaft and then the half ball pan for the tip how do I roll out the fondant to cover this cake? I am guessing (since I am carving the shaft) that it won't be as long as I think it will be....maybe 30" .....from ball cakes to tip. I know I don't have to worry about the squared corner or anything like this...but will it be hard to smooth out to look good? AND.....how do I cover any gaps in the cake before icing and putting the fondant on? Do I just use bc or cake scraps or what?

One more ?? (Sorry so long) I have a full recipe of MMF left over from another cake then 1/2 of a light gold color recipe of MMF left over....could I mix these two and have enough to cover this..and then maybe mix a different color into it like a pink? Or should I start another recipe (don't have any premade fondant on hand) Was thinking if I mixed the white and the gold it would be light enough to enhance with another color.

Thanks for any help.....PLEASE someone look at the naughty cake section today LOL

I've done a couple of these cakes but I am no master. Your idea sounds good but it might be easier and less scraps if you bake rounds and cut them in half and then stand them up on their sides. I have done a baby bottle this wat and it is about the same shape. as for filling in the cracks with anything, I just use bc, really it is sposta be kinda wrinkely right? It depends on how thin you roll the fondant on how much you will need and it depends on when this cake is due, I never had luck keeping MMF for more than 2 or 3 days, but if it is ok then I would try to make a sample color ball. take a little of each color in the proportions of the bigger batch and try to get the color right before just mixing them together and getting an awful color and wasting all the white, (yes, I know this from expiernce and it took me messing up 4 full batches to figure it out) Skin tone is really hard to get right. If you want a more realistic look remember to add light blue veins and use pink pedal dust on the head.
P.s I know how emberessing this can be, I had to deliver one to a guy my husband worked with so I met him in the office parking lot after work and just as we were loading it up my husbands boss came out and said, "wow, what kind of cake did you make this time?" I wanted to die right there on the spot, He just looked said oh, um, great job and ran to his car> icon_redface.gif

I have made several different version's of the pecker cake. My 1st was for my own 50th birthday party, 'cuz no one else I knew baked any of the special cake's, that is my gig. I'm a lazy baker/decorator, use/find baked good's already shaped in the form I need. I did bake a full sheet cake, then iced it, next, placed 6 twinkie's end to end down the middle, and since Hostess snowball's already have pubic hair (coconut), positioned them at the bottom. Iced everything and food colored the coconut brown. Cut a small uneven wedge in the top twinkie, so as to expose the creme filling, and placed stemmed cherry atop. Used toothpick's to draw pinkish-red and blue food color vein's. It was a HUGE hit with guy's and girl's alike, tho, upon cutting into it, the guy's did wince. icon_surprised.gif

a lil' while ago I made an extremely easy, no bake, pecker birthday cake for a girl I work with. This was an all adult party, with keg's of beer & jello shotz (made by me), and I've learned with alcohol parties, hardly anyone ever eat's the cake, so figgered, why bother heating up the house with the oven, and no one would appreciate the time & delicious homemade baked cake. I foil lined a flat of cardboard, cut 10 twinkie's lengthwise in half, placed them cut side down, 4 across, and placed end to end the length of the foil. Filled in the gap's with cut piece's of twinkie, frosted the whole thing, looked like a sheet cake. Then, again, whole twinkie's end to end, centered, on top, snowball's at the bottom, wedge cut the top twinkie, exposing the creme filling, cherry at the top, frosted the raised prominence, colored the coconut pube's, and drew on the vein's. Until she cut into it, no one knew it wasn't a "real" cake. And, then, folk's actually took bite sized piece's and ate of it.

Hey, I'm a blonde, too, so no problem, I'll elucidate. When I say top, I really mean at the tip, the tip top, the end of the pecker opposite from where the testicle's hang, the tip top, where the white creme center has been exposed by cutting that V wedge, and that's where the cherry goes, so as the birthday girl can get her pix taken as she is "going down" on the cherry tip top of the pecker, I've taken several pix of femme's munching on the cherry, and I've got a pix taken of me doing the same. VERY ADULT's ONLY cake/party/pix. icon_redface.gif Hope this clear's that blonde fog.
