Well I went to the GoodWill place today to check out what items they had in the kitchen section and I found a 3D Wilton Egg Pan... Well it was sold in two pieces one egg half for $2.00 each piece... It didn't come with the supports...

So now my problem... I need the supports... Does anyone have this set but doesn't have the pans? And may still have the supports? lol I'm hoping someone may be able to help me...

I've checked on ebay and can't find just the support rings, but I did find the whole set rather cheap I'm waiting to hear from her about shipping costs... But if I can get just the rings from someone here I'd rather do that then buy the whole set all over again lol.

Thanks in advance!
Becky

How about making rings out of aluminum foil? Make a circle out of crumpled foil to hold the egg halves? Or can you use tuna cans with the tops and bottoms cut out?

Great idea thanks! But I'm still scared it won't be enough to hold them once they are full of batter...

Hm, how about do you have the little Wilton oval pans, the ones that came with the Course 2 kits? How about putting the egg halves in those and stabilizing the sides with the crumpled foil so that they don't tip?

Let me find the sites I saw them on. They are adjustable like 6, 8 10 inches for cakes to backed in. I'll find them and post the link.

i think the tuna cans would work perfectly. i have the eggs/support and the supports basically look like that, a round support same size as a tuna cake minus the top and bottom. place the can on a cookie sheet and then the pans on top of that into the oven. you shouldnt have any problem at all holding up the weight.

Exactly! He's sittin here sayin "I can make ya something I have stainless steel strips out back in the shed I can do this and do that and this and that and ..................." it never stops lmao... But I think I'll just get the canned ham and send him to work with some decent lunches for a few days lol and then wash them extra good and use them lol. If that doesn't work it's off to the tuna cans icon_wink.gif
