Im in Pasadena and can't find a cake club in this general area too.

I'm in Bakersfield, I heard there is a mini convention type thing here. I found it one time if you'd like I can do more research

I'm also in the Santa Clarita area, but don't know of any cake groups.

Uhm, I don't know!

Some ideas: get together/bring people in for for lessons, maybe have cake pan exchanges/lending of pans and other durable supplies, provide help/moral support/information on local availability of supplies.

But, really, I don't know for sure.
