Looking for one and know absolutely nothing about them. One of the main functions that I need on one is to be able to type in the longitude and latitude and find this location on the map. Can anyone please tell me something about them and which ones are the best to go with??? Thanks so much in advance.

I couldn't help you with specific models of GPS's, but I know Garmin is one of the best, if not the best brand, and they do have models that allow you to enter coordinates like that.

It depends on what you are getting. We have an indash unit from Kenwood. It is our radio, navigation and everything all rolled up into one. We had a different unit until recently (an AVIC) but I like this one. The best feature is that we subscribed to XM radio and that gives us real time traffic updates on our GPS.

Everything depends on what you are looking for . . . we wanted an indash unit but there are plenty of small units that you just attach to your dash for navigation only.
