Ok, so I've been asked by someone to do some cookies for their wedding this Saturday. While I've made sugar cookies before, I'm really stressed and have a few questions!!

If I start baking today, should I freeze them and then take them out Thurs/Friday and decorate??

OR, should I bake, decorate and freeze now then thaw Friday?? Or should I just bake them Thrusday, put in an airtight container and decorate them all Friday??

Also, I planned on using fondant and royal icing....are these the best ideas for these?

Ugh....I'm so stressed and worried and pray these come out ok. icon_cry.gif

I would start today or tomorrow, without freezing them. You want the RI to dry for around 24-48 hours so the won't stick to the bags or get messed up. I made 140 NFSC on a Tuesday, decorated on Wed & Thurs, let them dry, packed them up Saturday and they were great on Sunday! NFSC stay fresh. This is just my opinion. Hope it helps,

Photomommie's timeline sounds just right. Since the cookies are for this Saturday, they will be nice and fresh.

have fun and post pictures when you're done!
